Challenge #11: The 10 of Swords
Ruin, Crisis, Anguish, Pain
Traditional Meaning: The Ten of Swords cries RUIN! It is one big caution sign. This is the lowest point of the Wheel of Fortune without even that card's promise of change. When sufferine is in capital letters like this, many kinds of misfortune and disappointment are possible: legal, job, social, failed plans, marriage, and/or health.
Knowing your Authentic Self: You or someone near you is at a philosophical crisis point. You know tears, anguish, loss, and, happily, the end of this cycle. The same fire that burns lances the wound and burns something away. Honor your feelings, spend time with them and learn all then can teach you. Then prepare to move on. In each ending is a new beginning. Stand in your truth. Speak it. Seek beautiy in it. Be compassionate.
Ask: What lesson have you finally learned? Why did it take so long? Where do you go from here? When everything is taken away, what remains?
