Hoshi stretched. There wasn't much else to do, not since the pirates had boarded Enterprise and taken everyone else with them. Even Porthos.
All the fun computer programs had been shanghaied as well. Everything from Pong to that risque Paint-a-Vulcan to my copy of 100 Days to Conversational Klingon. The bastards.
The pirates had made sure Enterprise was fueled up and not about to suffer a fatal disaster. So nice of them.
Then one day, Hoshi heard something. A little early to start hallucinating.
It was a tall rectangle box. Or maybe not?
The box opened. " 'Allo. I'm the Doctor."
"Are you sure?" Hoshi asked.
He opened his mouth, then paused. "Nobody's ever asked me that before," the Doctor said. "I'm definately sure that this' Ace and Martha," he said, introducing his companions.

"Hey," Ace said to Hoshi.
"Nice to meet you," Martha said.
Hoshi nodded.

Hee! Now I'm strangely curious about what exactly Paint-a-Vulcan entails. ;)
Thank you for writing this!
