"You're not," Lauren assured. "My dear forgot where he put the key." Peter and Jones will never hear of this.
"Next time, try silk cords," the neighbor suggested.
Lauren nodded. Well, we wanted an in, and we got one. Neal's still getting the couch, though.
"Would you like anything to drink?" Neal offered. "All our cups are still in the boxes, but we have sodas."
"Oh I couldn't."
Riiight, Lauren and Neal thought.

"While I appreciate you giving me the couch," Neal told Lauren, going back to said couch without dislocating either of their sockets, "it's mooted when you roll over."
"I don't roll."

"It's 3 in the morning. Do you really want to ask me anything not pertaining to a certain key?"
"No ma'am."
