Oh, Echo. She wants to protect Boyd, which is really sweet and very her. I liked this. I'm also loving how all this fic is getting turned out that's both excellent and vaguely creepy at the same time! 'cause you gotta admit, it's a little creepy she can't let her voice modulation change 'cause they're watching her. Nice job with this!

Oh yeah, they're watching her, and she knows they are watching her. Even in her 'blank' state, you can tell she's aware of her surroundings.
