Ok so to follow up on the post of the other day. I'm in tears ok! I should take a minute and calm down but god if I ever see another fic where Ron and Hermione are shown as thoughtless self-absorbed people I'll...I'll tell them off! Omigod, what did Rowling DO?! Am I going to need to hide under the bed over this one, too? I mean, okay, Ron being self-absorbed? Been there and done that, multiple times, canon-wise, and it's OLD. Ron may be a bit of a hothead, but he's RON. He's almost as loyal as a Hufflepuff, once he's made up his mind about somebody. The Weasleys are ALL like that (with the possible exception of Percy). And for pity's sake, how can HERMIONE be thoughtless? She thinks more than any other single character in these books!

And now I've REALLY got a bad feeling about this . . .
