But it gives me a good reason to buy a newer, better tablet :3

I don't think Byakuya would interfere too much. Maybe make little jabs at Ichigo, but not outright have a huge scheme to chase him away.

Yeah, same here. I think Byakuya thinks Ichigo needs a LOT of rounding, but is not the worst choice for Rukia, all things considered.
