Well, I am very excited about your ambitious offer! I enjoyed your story. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: a crossover slashing Janeway and Scully, R-NC-17ish smut. In my idea that I will never write, what happens is that Scully ends up on Voyager via some wormhole anomaly thingy -- you can go into detail or not about how this happens, the immediate aftermath with them all pointing guns at each other, her freaking out and thinking she's been abducted by the syndicate, whatever. The important part is that, in order to avoid contaminating the timeline while they're trying to figure out how to send her home, they confine her to specially outfitted quarters that have been stripped of all 24th century technology. She's not allowed to leave, and the only person who is allowed to see her is Janeway. And they can't tell her anything about what's going on, temporal prime directive and all. So she's basically festering in total isolation for an indefinite period, with Janeway her only human contact. And Janeway is in one of

Well, I've certainly always thought to do an X-File/Star Trek x-over, so, why the hell not? I'll get started on it right away...I only hope it can live up to your expectations. And seeing as this community is based on very strong beliefs, I don't think anyone should have to undermine theirs for the sake of a story. So if the story pleases you, then give your money to moveon. Now, I'm off to get started on what I imagine will be quite the interesting endeavour... Blessings, Thursday
Hey, I've posted your story, both at voteworks and on my domain. In Grey Final word count was roughly 5,880. I realise that might be higher than what you had in mind, so if you want, you can just count the parts you requested--the gun pointing scene, the odd-bonding and the sex, which would equal roughly 4,500. Either way, I think you send me a reciept (I don't quite know how that works). Just pay what you think the story's worth. I hope it lives up to your expectations, and sorry it took so long (I was stuck on the sex, I don't normally write femslash). Thursday
Sorry it took so long? That was near-superhuman speed, in my not-so-prolific world. The story is indeed longer than I expected, so I donated $35, based for no good reason on rates discussed below. Just for the sake of my wallet, not because every word isn't worth it. Next time I'll know not to underestimate the dedication of fan-the-voters, and put a cap on it beforehand :). If you give me your email, I'll forward you the confirmation email for the donation. I'm commenting my feedback on the story to your voteworks post. Thanks!
I don't suppose you'd be willing to do me a fanart (fanfiction would be too hard for something you've never seen) in the lower ratings for Walter and Seras from Hellsing? (Worlds. Weirdest. Het. Ship.) Pics of each are on the net but I can link you to some... Hopefully with permission for me to use it on my website with of course proper credit?
If that's as impossible as I fear it is, I could go for some good old-fashioned Spock/Chapel fic, NC-17 preferred.
Oh and length... I guess I could go up to $35 or so which is probably way longer than it needs to be. As for art I paid $35 for my last comissioned fanart, but if the going rate is higher I'm fine with that.
I'm pretty sure I could do the art for ya...at least, I'll give it a try before completely tossing it out. But before I do, just a few questions. I've only read the first two volumes of Hellsing and that's my entire involvement in that world...so I don't know if you see this relationship being fluffy or angst-y, or what. So do you want the art to be cute, or dark, or what? As for price, well, we can decide on that after I've done it. I certainly don't think it needs to be more than $35. Lets just base it on size, detail, etc, when you get the finished product, kay?
Well, the Hellsing manga is way different than the anime (manga is much better actually...) but I tend to base this baseless relationship more on the anime because Seras has a canon pairing with Pip in the manga. Doesn't make that much difference in an art except for the color of Seras' uniform I suppose. Though what would actually be really cool is to see them in different clothes for once, though I can't honestly picture them going out on a date in formal clothes or something it might make a cool art. Just a thought.
That said, I see it somewhere between fluffy and angsty, sort of... deep, if that makes any sense. Not sure what you mean by dark, in an art, exactly... I suppose I wouldn't want it TOO dark, but serious would be fine.
Hope that makes sense, and thanks for your prompt reply!
Ooooh. You've really appealed to me with these requests. And I totally get what you mean about Ryo! (I don't know if you've ventured to ff.net, but the majority of the stories there are painful) Also...Hakkai without his limiters is like...my dream. So yeah, you've really hit the nail on the head. I'll get to work on these right away, and try to stay in the word limit, but even if I go over, you can cap the price at $15. I tend to get wordy sometimes, no one's fault but my own. I think its safe to assume that you're looking for R NC-17 action here, but if I'm wrong, let me know. Otherwise, I'll email you once I've finished, and post the work at voteworks! Thanks for your participation, Thursday
Any bids yet...?snoozetteJune 22 2004, 13:53:46 UTC
Any bids yet on you HP:PoA book? I'd start with the $150 (which BTW -- isn't cheep or outrageous or autos depending on how many there are.) If I win, I'd like to seen your pics, but I trust that you got these yourself so not to worry about that now. Let me know where you want it to go. --snoo

No Bids yet, so let's give it until Saturday, and then if no one has bid yet, we'll call you winner. If you give me your email, I'll send you some pics of the autographs. And if you win, I would prefer the money be sent to the Kerry campaign. Thanks for your bid! Thursday

Hello again. I sent you an email, but just in case you didn't get/see it, I wanted to let you know I was still interested. Send pics if you're able. I'd like to get the $ sent to Kerry before the first (of July) so give the word and we're good to go. Thanks for doing all that you are! --snoo

Sorry, I don't think I received any email from you. Anyway, since no one else offered anything, you win at 150 if you still want it. As far as pictures, I'm not on my own computer, I just made a four state move last night and haven't got hooked up. The only image I have on line is Tom Felton's sig. which is here: http://tsukechick.iwarp.com/cgi-bin/i/images/Thursday/TomAuto.jpg That is the inside back cover. The inside front has Alfonso's and the kid who plays Crabbe. Emma's signature is next to a picture of her later in the book, and Rupert's is above a picture of him and Hermione on the Hogwarts Express. I'm sorry I can't show you the pictures of them at this moment. Rest assured they're all there, and as soon as I unpack, I can mail the posterbook out to you. If you're uncomfortable with this, I understand. If you want to go ahead, just forward me the receipt and I'll send out the book asap. Thanks again, Thursday
