I was wondering about your S/S fic called “Same Calibre, Different Makes”.

Is it a WIP or completed fic?

Yeah, I like it. I have a good feeling about it. It’s high-quality writing, the kind that’s lacking in many fics that I see cropping up everywhere like mushrooms after a cloudburst. I like that you’ve got a general idea of where to take the story. And if you haven’t...well, I’ll give it to you. You’ve got flair!

I find it curious that Irina even smiled at him at the end of the prologue you’ve called ‘The Hammer’. She’s always seen him as the hired hand that she can order around, take for granted and look down her nose at. That’s how Irina’s always treated him, right?

I’m sorry. I’m going on without even taking into consideration whether you’re still an ‘Alias’ fan or not. Are you?

Will you be continuing “Same Calibre, Different Makes” or have you decided to leave it as it is?

SCDM is, in fact, a WIP. I started writing it during S3, but then as the seasons kept unfolding I lost my interest in Sydney as a character, and never really got back to it. I was recently thinking of doing just that, though, as I've got my hands back on my S2 DVDs. I've got about half of the fic written, but it's already huge. I do, in fact, know where I'm going with it, and thanks a lot for enjoying this prologue!

Irina did not, in fact, smile at him, she smiled to herself, more like. Although in my view, she sees Sark as more than just a hired hand to exploit (although he definitely also fits that category, it's not all he is). But more will come if I ever manage to get back on the writing horse for this fic.
