Late night, double feature, picture show

Yesterday I decided to remember that I paid for a cinema card for a reason and went and caught two movies. Opted for a comic book adaptation night.

Wanted: nowhere near as bad as Jumper, which a friend had likened it to. For one thing, the script's structure is much better and there are no such huge gaping loose ends. For another, Jamie totally ( Read more... )

I am still totally working on a Jarvis-Meets-Alfred crossover. By which I mean Paul-Jarvis, not the actual man-Jarvis who is in the comics, which I refuse to accept exists, because apparently he's old and quite...well, Alfredy, but Jarvis in my head is hot because he has Paul-voice.

And if that sentence made sense to you, I commend you, my friend.

This has no point, except to say that if you write Iron Man fic, there should be some hard core Jarvis action. I want to see that movie again, damn it. Tony, you dashing cad. He really did make Hulk fantastic.

I liked Wanted, but remain in the minority. Hulk was certainly leagues better than the Ang Lee version. Gag me.

I think it must make sense to Paul fanatics only, because it makes perfect sense to me. Also the thought of Paul playing opposite Michael Caine is for the win. For the frakking win.

I know, I really wanna see Iron Man again. That one scene with Tony kicked so much more ass than the rest of Hulk, seriously. And see, I liked Wanted too. I'm just very aware of its flaws, too. But I forgive them because I had such a good time. And Jamie! He kept making me laugh.

I haven't seen the Ang Lee version. I kind of wish this Hulk here had been with Jennifer instead of Liv Tyler, though.

Can it be time for Watchmen already? PRETTY FUCKING PLEASE.

I liked Betty's shrink boyfriend, though. The guy you saw for one and a half scene, yes. The normal guy.

Should I tell her? Should I? Or should I wait for her to find out? ... ... ... I can't decide. The boyfriend is Doc Sampson. He gets hulkified - his hair turn green, he gains super-strength and decides to kick evil's ass! With SCIENCE! <---- highlight to enjoy the irony

Tony is a dick but I'd totally do him - the movie version I mean, the comic book version I want to SUFFER, DIE AND GO TO HELL TO SUFFER MORE!!! AND THEN I WANT HIM BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE SO HE CAN GET KILLED AGAIN awful things to happen to.

But he was so nice being just the regular Joe! Oh well.

I've never actually read Iron Man, all I know's the movie version. But oh how I love him. Lovelovelove.

Well, I could tell you what's up with Tony these days if you want to. I have to warn you, I do tend to geek out about it sometimes.
