It's been so long since I last wrote Methos, it's like hooking up with an old friend and realising that you get on just as well, but in wholly different ways than before. General spoilers for this season of Heroes, I suppose.

The first time they meet, neither one of them is called Adam. )

No wait! You can't end it like that. WAIIIILLLL.
Oh, Fan. These two.
daylight striking colder colours on his body than last night's candle. His eyes look like they might be hard, one day, chips of marble that only ever reflect what people need to see.
"Not old enough that this has become boring," Benjamin answers, pulling the bedsheet off.
So perfect. I love how enigmatic Methos is, not revealing much, oh so cautious.

I'd missed writing Methos. It's all this thinking of Josef and Adam, really. I'm going back to my roots, so to speak. The different facets of immortality and what they can do to someone, it all fascinates me. I'm so glad you liked it, you know how much I value your opinion.

Yes, completely! It's actually indirectly your fault, for pushing Di to write Josef/Adam. I just watched Moonlight in the past couple of days, and now I can't get those boys out of my head. Methos was my way into fanfiction, so many years ago, and the fascination has not faded. This sort of character is just entrancing! And Josef fits right up there with them. I'm really looking forward for a Josef-centric episode.
