Oh, my god. Common Rotation kick so much ass still! I'm so happy to have seen them again, and thank you Stéphanie. Thomas Brun opened, a very good folk rock French singer, and then was David Berkeley.

I saw Common Rotation... wow, years ago now. They opened for They Might Be Giants in Seattle one year. They were really good. And then I forgot about them until just now. Weird!

My favorite memory was that someone from the audience shouted out (when Adam was talking about a girlfriend) "Why don't you just MAKE one?" Some people laughed, but most didn't get it. Then Adam's quippy reply: "Somebody knows something...!" Then that was the last said about it.

CoRo are just plain amazing, and boo for people not up on their Buffy lore! I've been a big fan of theirs for a while now, saw them first in Liverpool a couple years ago. They're still just as good, and it's insane how much I love both their records and their live shows. I honestly couldn't choose which I like best.
