The first of the drabbles I owe people. This one is for the_swordman, for his birthday, even though that was now a while ago. It's the thought that counts! He wanted Kaylee, back in Firefly days, envying Wash and Zoe. (You other people I owe ficlets? I will get to them, yes I will. I swear. I want to! So I shall.)

Also, spoilers for the Big Damn Movie.

( But ifs don't get you food or cred or nothing, her momma used to say. And she was right. )

Kaylee and Wash... I love their friendship (or should I say loved ? -_-), they seemed to spend a lot of time together and they understood each other.
Anyway, it's lovely, and you got them right.
I could see it happening like that :)

Ah, thanks a lot! I'm happy I got them right. I love them so hard. And I think Kaylee and Wash are a big giant WHAT IF, and one which is probably better off remaining a "what if", at least imho.

They're both the heart of Serenity, for different reasons yet so much alike, full of love, open to the world...

J'suis pas une grande fan de firefly ou serenity mais je dois dire que j'aime beaucoup ta fic.
Le problème c'est que je connais pas vraiment les personnages alors je peu pas trop les inscrire dans quoi que ce soit mise à part mes réminiscence de serenity...

Bon... finalement après relecture j'ai décidé de donner une nouvelle chance a firefly... quelqu'un aurait-il la gentillesse de m'encourager dans cette voie et de me preter les épisodes? *g*

I hadn't read it before cause I didn't wanna spoil me on the BDM... Now I've seen it so I came back here and oh god, I love that piece, I love the perfect way you get Kaylee / Wash friendship, Kaylee's envy and the last part, the turn around, so sad but so... alive, in some way... It's just beautiful and you're a fucking amazing writer whom I'm proud to work with !
And now I'm gonna check out your novel for NaNoWriMo.
