I had to reread chapter one, lol.

Anyway, you know I am loving this. It's wonderful to see a famous fic.

Poor Ryan...his pain was jumping off the pages.

The ending was tense. You know it's bad if Seth notices.

Now try and write more in-between work and family and life!

Thanks for reading and commenting. And yes, one of the reasons I stopped and posted here was to get comments that would motivate me to write more!

This is incredible--on this gloomy, stormy Sunday I read part 1 of this and wondered if it would ever be continued and here's an update. Love when that happens and am so glad to see you writing again as your stories are always high on my list of favorites.

Ryan's pain is palpable and the Cohen concern is strong. Can't wait to see a future update. :-)

Thanks for reading and commenting. How weird that you just read the first part today.... and after all this time I finally updated.

And I love your icon.

muchtvs is right: it certainly is wonderful to see a famous fic! You certainly haven't lost your touch. This is a wonderful update. I especially love your Kirsten here, sternly maternal despite her fear and her uncertainty about how to treat an ill Ryan. Your dialogue is wonderful too. This bit is my favorite:

“I know you have a lot of work,” Ryan said, wincing, alerting Kirsten that he was still in a lot of pain. “You don’t have to watch over me all day and play nurse.”

“I’m not playing nurse,” she huffed. “I’m playing mom. That’s what I do."

By the way, I can assure you that I'm feeling much, much better than Ryan is in this story. Your depiction of the pain of a migraine is very realistic. I know, since my sister-in-law suffered from them when my nephews were small and I used to go over and watch the boys for her during an attack. I hope your knowledge doesn't come from personal experience!

I keep meaning to drop an e-mail. (Though I did drop something in snail mail box.) I'm very glad you're doing better than Ryan!

While I've never had such a bad migraine, I've had headaches bad enough to make me vomit. So this is an exaggerated version of one! Thank goodness, it's been a few months since my last one.

And I'm proud to say, I started part 3. Luckily, my BF the PA works in the ER. *grins devilishly*

Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm sorry you experienced such a serious migraine. I did some research and talked to a friend of mine who works in an ER and while she never mentioned the compazine and benadryl... she did mention the CT Scan.

Poor woobie Ryan. All of your headache description makes me very happy that the migraine auras that I've had were never followed by the actual migraine. : )
