This story is so horrible and depressing and hopeless and, Hell, Sammy, and then the last line nearly makes me cry because it's true - they can watch cartoons and drink beer and make peace with dad and that's a win. It defnitely beats being in Hell all the time.

The way you handled the hallucinations is absolutely chilling.
