is this your first? it really is hard to predict. there are no warning signs. it'll just happen, OR you'll ovulate like normal and finish out your cycle like normal. it's so unpredictable.

if i remember correctly, i've had 2 or 3 anovulatory cycles and they were both around 42 days in length. so i wonder if it's somewhat consistent per woman.

p.s. your chart is so freaking awesome and detailed. dude!

Thanks!

Yes, it's pretty detailed because I like to keep track of every symptom I happen to have every day. I have lyme disease... That's why some of the symptoms I have listed would be considered strange for "healthy" people. LOL

And this seems to be my second or third anovulatory cycle out of 17 cycles, which doesn't seem to be bad or unusual. Cycle 8 looks anovulatory. Cycle 14 I'm iffy about, but it does look like I did ovulate.

Hey...I was just searching "anovulatory cycles" and came upon this entry (a year after you posted, hehe) but I have lyme disease as well and often wonder how it relates to my cycle and TTC...have you had any luck yet?

Oh wow! i just checked out your profile-- it's always nice to run into someone who is so lyme literate :) i had lyme/babesiosis/mycoplasma fermentans about 7 years ago and am now in grad school working on vector borne diseases. i have no clue if you even use lj anymore, but i hope you do since it looks like we have a lot in common...and i also just moved to MD :)
