Factors that may change your temp

Aug 03, 2007 13:03

I thought it would be handy to have a list of factors which may change your temperature. I'll put the ones I've thought of here, and if people comment I'll keep revising the list, including moving things into different categories if need be as I'm guessing for several of them.

List )

restless sleep, temping, awake before temping, vaginal temping

How about travel (sleeping in a different bed?), seasons, stress, etc. Also, how do people feel about other drugs? I had my tonsils out yesterday, and they told me I'm supposed to have a fever, and I'm also on pain medication (thank goodness) which might change things too? (Isn't it convenient that this happened right around the time when I think I might usually ovulate, that I get a rise in temps that might be ovulation or fever from tonsils or both?) Sorry for somewhat of a rant. I'm on medication, my throat hurts, and I've been temping regularlyish for three months and in none of them have I been sure if I've ovulated or not yet!
