1. Well McAvoy did play the faun in Narnia, so he has some experience in the genre.

2. I love anything with Fugit or Whishaw. Also Eddie Redmayne. I'll watch anything they are in.

3. Does this mean the serious Dark Knight media blitz is coming soon? It comes out in a month or so, right? I assume there will be at least 30 days of commercials.

4. I am REALLY looking forward to Choke. Hell yeah.

5. Sydney Pollack had a hilarious cameo in "Fauteuils d'orchestre." It's on Netflix and is an incredibly good movie. You should rent it.

6. Davies leaving is just one more reason why I think Tennant will die at the finale of Dr. Who.

3. i would assume so, but they probably won't go so hard just because the alternate reality game has been building hype for over a year.

4. Well, it's different. "Fight Club" is, in many ways, his most "movie-ready" novel. The rest all tend to be really caustic and preachy. It is a great book. That and "Survivor" may be my two favourites.

6. Tovey would make an excellent Doctor, except that he is already otherwise employed, and in the sci-fi/fantasy realm too. My guess is that, if this is the end for Tennant, that Moffatt has already picked out Tennant's replacement.

If you want an "out" actor, I think Jake Maskall would be great. Do you know about him? He was on 'EastEnders' and came out recently He's a little older than Tovey. I think the Doctor should be at least 30.

And my dark horse pick would be Rob Brydon. He's great, and a big star in the UK. Now, he is a comedian, but so is Catherine Tate, so that won't disqualify him. I just hope they don't pick someone who is very famous, but otherwise unqualified, like Hugh Grant or Stephen Fry.
