she was just completely snotty and i probably overreacted but come on. you don't just get to act like a complete ass without getting called on it once in a while.
i don't feel bad that i said it, but i'll feel bad if it ends up causing unnecessary trouble or if i get fired over something stupid like this. i haven't bothered to tell my boss about this because the whole situation is ridiculous, and i hope she'll end up coming to the same conclusion and just letting it go. we were both dumb. whatever.

i am patiently awaiting exams to be over and summer to finally be here so i can READ FOR PLEASURE again. i have so many books just waiting on my desk, begging to be read.
anyways. kurt vonnegut isn't that bad. you just have to get into. maybe try cat's cradle. that's what worked for me.

my roommate also said cat's cradle was the good one, so i'll probably give it a try. i just found slapstick in a dumpster today (kind of a coincidence, don't you think?), so i'm reading that one now.

i still think the grapes of wrath is probably the best book ever written. if you haven't read that one yet, you totally should.
