i finally bought gangster no. 1 yesterday, and i am having great fun turning the audio commentary on and off. oh god, it's so good. also, i like not watching it on television for once. ifc, so it was never as horrible as it could be, but oh man, i own this movie! i can watch it whenever i like! i think my two favorite scenes in it are one right ( Read more... )

organic yellow corn chips, fake ground beef (homemade, what?), "cheese" sauce, sauteed onion, serrano pepper, black olives, tomatoes, vegan sourcream, cilantro salsa. nothing rocks like these nachos! although, i do have to admit that i miss eating nonvegan movie nachos. just the really simple gloppy probably-velveeta cheese sauce and jalapenos over round corn chips. they were so tasty and horrible for me. ah, the good old days.

i can also make onion rings. and one time, i made french fries. but those weren't really any good.

i might have to jack that recipe and give it a try! i just use tortilla chips, boca meat, cheese, taco seasoning, avacado, a little salsa. not vegan, but you know. SO GOOD.

i'm possibly the only person in the known universe who hates avocado. and it's so pretty, i try to like it. but it's gross.

seriously, it was not as hilarious and outstanding as one might believe from the premise. i thought it was going to kick so much ass. instead, it was a mess of trying too hard to squeeze all Teh Funneh into one episode and it was totally not working. i do give them points for trying, though, with the line "can you phrase that as a metaphor?" that was self-referentially AWESOME.

thus far i have not put the theory that i could kick stupid boys' asses to the test. it has come close, but i have not yet thrown down. me against stupid drunken idiots, though? i'm thinking i would be made of win.
