I still try to store up enough valiance to master the first adventure of the Firefly RPG, but I think it could live just by the pure joy of recognizing things from the show. But an MMORG? With no gamemaster to guide the story along lines of fun...

And also, the show's universe was quite sketchy. They have to add a buttload of stuff to create an MMORG-worthy universe. So I'm as sceptical as you are.

I'll still keep an eye on this, though. Just in case they do get it right.

I'm writing your card needing your address :p

hehe

One mmo is enough of a time consumer for me. I dont really need another, but I am very intrested in Stargate Worlds. I think that has a lot of potential, especially if it could keep the same heart as the first half of the SG-1 series. Doubtful, but even bad Stargate is better then most mainstream junk. Hopefully the noob/dumbass population will be a lot lower then it is in Warcraft and the game wont go the way of SW Galaxies...

(mmm, rumors of sony gettig sacked and bioware making a star wars mmo.... *drool*)

You would think the movie would wrap it up enough. I hope they don't ruin the 'verse of the thing.

Crappy. Can't we all wait 'til September, when Joss's 2 year agreement with Universal is up and Sci~Fi channel can make a real offer? :)

Heart leapt when I saw it.

Frowned wistfully when I remembered not all MMOs are like WoW.

Second Life would be a good model, but it'd get too SWGy.

Either way, I'll probably play it. There better be a Companion character class.
