A few girls on my flist are gay and they often bring these kinds of subjects up, and isn't it sad that they have to? It's not a rare thing (anymore) to come out and say that you are, in fact, gay - so why should this be such a big deal?
I can understand that some people out there, when they're looking for a romance novel, may be bothered if it turns out to be lesbian - and maybe they could put it on the back that the book isn't about hetro lovers, but gay?
I've read a few lesbian romance books (because they're just so beautiful (most of the time)) and even if you're not gay, there are some amazing stories out there. I actually want there to be more m/m romance books in the stores, and I have no idea why it interests me so much, but it does ( ... )
