So after contemplating on whether or not to post this. I decided I would. So basically drowningofsoul and I decided to take part in Voltaire's new video (Happy Birthday My Old Friend) since he was looking to cast Gothic Lolitas among other things. This was shot in Philadelphia on Jan. 7th

I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed the square-dancer! That dress could maybe have been kind of lolita if it weren't for that awful petticoat. :/ I mean, I think square dancing pettis can occasionally work alright but that one was the epitome of the wrong shape, and looked silly to boot. I kept thinking how it should be on lolita_handbook as a perfect example of the wrong kind of petticoat.

I didn't like the blue-ish grey wig either? I thought that she should have just used her real hair...

Yes me too! I died a lil. A saw her before she transformed and then when she came back I was like, "oh no..."

That square dancing dress I don't mind so much, it's her shiny wig that bugs me a little ^^;

Yes its from AB!! I'm so glad you knoew. Most people don't. Yea her wig killed me.
