Don't let him get to you - you should go for it with college if thats what you want!! No-one should do it just to get a 'good' job if they don't enjoy it anyway.

I dont know why some people think that going to college means just jumping straight to a great job with a great position and tons of money. We all have to start somewhere (of course in the field we major in)
