Query: should I first write the BBC!version of Derringer Sky, or this one actor!Sherlock playing Shakespeare story concept that's been spinning round my head these last few days?

Or just

sort of

mesh up the two together

because android!Sherlock quoting Shakespeare might be strangely fantastical. Mm.

Awh, yay. Sarah!

Most of the anons are in the US or Canada, but we have a few in Europe and one in NZ. But the great thing about doing it with everyone having their own blog is that timezones don't really come into play all that often.

I was thinking of the chats, actually, but I guess I'll just go ahead and see. :D I am a bit behind on all the going-ons, but I'll catch up on that eventually.

If you're not already on them, people will be adding Sarah to their meta filters as well. There's a lot of information that goes out in those.

Really, it's not as scary as it looks. I promise!

Aha, I know. I've simply never partaken in that sort of thing, and am a bit wary. It'll pass.

Thank you, anyhow.

Oh, hello hello!
Well "the procedure", I'd say, includes posting an intro entry (obviously), headcanon post (meta-locked), and then putting up journals to holmeschat (accordingly to this list and... well, that'd be all :)

Welcome!

I like the idea of android!Sherlock quoting Shakespeare and would be interested to see how you handled it. (Would he really understand Shakespeare on a human, emotional level? If not, why the interest?) But I'd happily read either concept on it's own.

The interest would be purely material, actually: he's had to impersonate an actor for a case, and so he memorized the plays. Considering that Shakespeare has made it to the human general consciousness, he kept them, later on. I was wondering how much of the underlying emotion he'd understand; it would be fascinating to explore. I keep imagining him playing Caliban and treading the thin line between freak and human.

i am becoming way too invested in this.

Ooh, yes, loving this idea!

Getting way too invested probably means you should write it

I just spent the night on it. Now I have so many ideas.

There goes the rest of the month.

If you did the Granada!verse Analysis I'd be interested in reading it. I've been on a mad Granada binge lately after discovering Netflix had all/most of it for instant watching.

I think I will do it. I'll start working on it this weekend.

(And oh, does it? have to look into that - I've been looking for The Master Blackmailer all over.)

Hi. I would add a vote on the mesh-up, mostly because there isn't a lot of android!Sherlock out there, period. :P And putting android!Sherlock quoting Shakespeare would be very, very awesome. :3
