the power of stubborness over finals.

I am not dead!

Three things, to celebrate this fact and the end of my finals:

1. More Sherlock recs: wordstrings  has updated her Paradox Series, which has made me ridiculously happy two days ago; the sherlockbigbang is currently posting away, with some fairly gorgeous stuff in it - my personal favourite being Strangers, a futuristic AU in which John Watson is an android ( Read more... )

Wonderful fic as ever, read the first chapter and will read the rest when I'm not so busy. The post-its were a cute, amusing addition. Somehow, you manage to get me to read France/England without even being all that into Hetalia.

Though something did occur to me earlier: So are there separate people for Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England, or is it just England? And if so, what about before the UK?

Aw. Thanks, dear. &hearts

I have pretty conflicted feelings about Hetalia as a whole, actually. I like the original concept (the whole 'nations as characters' one, anyhow) and the parody, nothing too serious mood of the series. On the other hand, some of the execution in the manga itself makes me go :/ at times.

On a third hand, which I don't have, I just adore France/England. I couldn't walk away from them even if I tried.

Re: UK, they're all separate, actually, though so far only England and Scotland, I think, have been given personal designs - and England stands in for the entire UK in meetings such as the G8, if I recall well. But technically, yeah, Ireland, Scotland and Wales are considered England's older siblings.
