Good things, bad things, about Burien Olympic Cafe

Good things about the Olympic Coffee and Roasting Cafe in Burien:

• It's close to the SEA airport
• They place quiet calm classical music
• The internet connection is fast
• It's not crowded
• It's very close to a friend's place, who like to host me for lunch

It's pretty hard to live up to Remedy, but it doesn't sound like that place is even on the same scratchsheet.

Then again, it's in Burien.

It is, in fact, just about the most reachable coffee shop within the radius of SEA airport that has free wifi and isn't embedded in a hotel with hotel chain prices. But you're right: it's the "older person's coffee shop" within the Normandy Park region; the two (2!) Starbucks in the stripmall across the street appeal to different crowds; the one anchoring the north end of the block appeals to the middle-class-with-kids crowd, the one eighty meters away at the south end appeals to the high-school and post-high-school crowd
