I watched the Lake Union fireworks while hiking down to Gasworks Park. It was a great show but a huge crowd.

While hiking back to my car (I was wearing my UtiliKilt), I got one "what do you wear under that?" from some guy (the answer is "my boots"), and one whistle and "Nice Legs!" from a girl in a passing car.

I keep meaning to ask you this -- how long did it take you to break in your kilt?

I bought one last weekend, and it's very stiff, which is a bit uncomfortable...

How odd, mine was not uncomfortably stiff off the shelf.

What material is yours made of?

And they are supposed to be somewhat "stiff", it's not supposed to be soft and "swirly" like a woman's skirt.

It appears to be some kind of very dense black denim. I was expecting a certain amount of stiffness, but this thing stays flat when I sit down, which is a bit silly. Plus, itchy. :(
