It was the red that caught her eye first when fighting down the wave of nausea, leaning against the wall. ...So many deaths...

"...You're bleeding." she said, looking at the trails of red that poured from his lips before looking up to see the rest of the face that came with it.

Like a fawn in the light, she froze.

"Agamemnon."

Was this her punishment for denying the fates their prize of Apollo? She reached blindly behind her, not willing to take her eyes off him, to try and see if the elevator was still open but it was closed and already going the rest of the way up to the top. Even if she pressed the button now it would be too long before it was summoned again.

"...S-sorry, wrong floor..."

Agamemnon frowned. Mocking the very serious feeling of “hurt,” and doing it rather well, he glanced down at the floor awkwardly and scuffed his feet against the carpet. He stuffed his hands deep into his pockets, digging to find something to writhe. He scratched the back of his neck. He cleared his throat weakly. He hunched over, and leaned against the wall, and furrowed his eyebrows, and seemed to grapple with something to say-often opening his mouth to begin a sentence before clamping it shut again. He did a number of things to appear nervous, tentative, wounded, apologetic, small, innocuous, sincere. Occasionally, he was sincere, but more than anything, he lied ( ... )

He is lying. she told herself, keeping her back to the wall. Even so, even certain that he was lying, she couldn't help but think of Apollo's words. Did she need him to be lying?

The former god certainly never intended this context for his words, she knew.

She looked away then, digging into her purse to search for something she knew was in there.

"I will lay down back in my own apartment, it is quiet what with Hector-" gone, she stopped herself before she finished that sentence and prayed it wasn't too late to have caught herself.

Finding what she had been looking for, Cassandra held out a pack of tissues to Agamemnon, for the bleeding. "...Sorry. I shouldn't be talking to you even this much."
