Atalanta always arrived first. It was a rule. Fish gotta swim, birds got to fly, Atalanta has to go first. Just ask the Calydonian Boar. And look! She brought a gift. A horrible horrible gift for the drunken delight of Argonauts everywhere.

She'll even knock so Jason thinks it's someone else at the door. Someone polite. Atalanta had been looking forward to this since she first had the idea. She missed her boys when she was busy playing princess in Arcadia with all the little men. Missed having a group she could really count on. The excitement made her knocks harsh and loud; her full strength in every single one.

Jason was excited to have his crew here with him. Since they were the only people he had ever really been able to connect with. They also were just amazingly hilarious to be around. Having people around him who weren't afraid to treat him as an equal had been a breath of fresh air back in the day, and it continued to be one now.

He opened the door, fully expecting someone else. Atalanta would never have knocked, she usually just walked in on him like this was her place as well. Though, if any of his crew needed or wanted to live here, he would gladly allow them to. "Atalanta! You knocked! Is the world going to end?!"

"'Fraid so, Captain. Been an Amazon spy this whole damned time. The revolution starts on Saturday," she laughed at him, gave a good love punch, and shoved the D.V.D into his arms. "Figured I'd be so kind as to give you a good party before the end. I'm like that."

Atalanta now chose to strut inside like she owned the place. It would be alarming if she didn't, even her new Coach would look for body snatchers if she came in any other way. "That's a whole lot of alcohol."

"Good to know. I'll make note of it to protect myself." He laughed with her, swatting at her when she punched him. Gods damn, she hit hard. "What the hell is this?" He read the title and burst out laughing again. "Oh this will be good."

He closed the door behind her. "You're so kind. What would I do without you?" he asked dryly. "And yes. It is. It's so that I will have more for you to steal later."

Orpheus had only heard bits and pieces of Atalanta's story through his drunken hearing filter. While he was only processing about every other word, the general idea made sense to him - something wasn't winning, someone else wasn't fighting kindly, or close enough to that at least. The stereo sounds from the television was quite muddling with his senses - that was until Jason had offered to get drinks for everyone else. Now at ease, he took his wife by the waist and lied down against the couch with her.

"I'll take...THIS MANY." Orpheus raised his hand up quickly from his wife's hips where he laid, five fingers spread wide open. There was a generally sluggish motion of his wrist twirling around as though it was looking for Jason. After he had gotten too tired, he simply dropped it back down onto his wife's behind.

"Get that Jason...? That'szzz...TWO...two Scorpion things...one for me...one for this...this angel right here," he slurred before spanking Eurydice's bottom cheerfully.

One moment, she was trying to follow the banter back and forth. The next, she was trying to follow pillows as they were thrown. Her attention was in far too many places at once. She was, however, following the question of whether or not people wanted to try this scorpion bowl thing.

As Eurydice turned and shifted to try to see Jason to answer him, Orpheus' hand slapped her rear and she let out a surprised squeak. Thanks to what she already had to drink she didn't feel as embarrassed by it as she normally would have in the company of others, but her face did take on a rather nice shade of pink.

"Yea... what he said..." It was a horrible recovery, but Eurydice managed a pleasant smile in Jason's direction before she turned back around.

"What constitutes a sissy drink?" Bellerophontes inquired, raising his eyebrows as he leaned back into the cushions of the couch, arm pressed against Atalanta's. Indeed, a man had no authority over a woman that was not his wife - it was well enough that Atalanta had decided to step in regardless of the reasoning. Though it was unfortunate that it was not that kind of fight; spars were all well and good, and he had enjoyed those he had participated in, but true fights were needed every now and then. A challenge.

He still had the desire kindling like a baby flame underneath his skin, but it had grown smaller as he had become older - even before he had fallen. However, the smack of skin on skin (and the consequent noise Eurydice emitted) caught his attention quickly enough, and he canted his head to the side, scoffing softly.

"Orpheus," he scolded in jest, thankful at least he couldn't see the both of them, "behave."

"I think if it's fruity or too girly it is a sissy drink? You'll have to check with your human cushion over there." Jason started laughing when he heard Orpheus spank his wife, after he had watched his friend's hand do it's magical dance. "Again, I ask you Orpheus, if you should have more to drink."

He made their drinks anyway, bringing them out and handing them to the two lovebirds on the couch before he went back to get the other ones. He handed them out before he settled back in his chair and took a sip. Wow. He may have put too much rum in it. "If you don't keep it appropriate over there, I will spank you myself," he threatened. The laugh may have ruined that though.
