After my first attempt at giving blood, I learnt not to look at the needle. It's so much better without seeing the size of the instrument with which they jab you *lol*

Lol that's the thing, I didn't look at the needle. It was the relief that it had gone that sent me funny. They should just knock me out first next time, haha.
