Hockey’s back! I didn’t really believe it until I was sitting in my seat, my dad across from me, watching the red and white jerseys take the ice. And then it hit me. It’s really back! Yay

Shanny got a 10 minute misconduct for taking another swing after the linesman tried to separate them. At least that's what the commentator I was watching said.

Shanny was about the only reason to watch that game. The Blues were so sloppy they didn't even look like they belonged in the NHL. That probably won't stop me from watching the rematch tonight though. :)

I think they're penalty happy at the moment. I've been watching the game on and off tonight and there's been like half a dozen already and that was just in the first period. Poor Cheli. He keeps landing himself on the bench because of hooking. I imagine it's hard to retrain yourself on that stuff after so many years of doing it as second nature.

I'm not sure I'm going to make it through the whole game tonight. I didn't get home from work until 8, and quite frankly, I'm too tired to pay all that much attention at the moment. But it's a better game tonight than it was last night.

It was a better game. The Blues at least looked they belonged in the NHL tonight. Towards the end there was even some doubt as to who might win! But it all worked out for the best.
