Meta/Maine can be a bit of a crazy bitch, so if you'd rather not have to deal with her full on insanity moments, let me know here.

Also, she only communicates in grunts and grumbles. If you feel your character would understand her (as Washington does in canon), let me know here! :)

Presumably several threads; I think it'd take Jessica a bit to realize, "Oh wait, she's actually kind of talking and not just vocalizing!" and then picking up patterns.

Sounds about right. It'd probably have to be action, then, because think otherwise Maine uses the scroll unless she's talking to Washington.

Would it be possible for her to move into the Fortress? I hadn't really specified her settling anywhere yet, and having them around each other like that would probably expedite the learning-grumblygrowlyspeak process :3

Yes! That's perfectly okay!

But in that case, I feel I must explain that in Red Vs. Blue Canon, they actually have cases of physical representations of character's headspaces. I don't know how Fela's telepathy works, but Maine's headspace would appear as a very dilapidated, desolate building, very poor lighting, cracks in the ground and dead scraggly plants and the like.
