[Frederic came back from getting some groceries when he stopped someone on the floor in the hallway. Walking closer to the body, he can see it looks familiar.]

No need to thank us. It's a good thing Frederic found you when he did. There might be an overcast today, but there's still the danger of heat exhaustion or dehydration. You should definitely rest some more then.

Well, the Malnoso were kind enough to drop you off in our hallway. [Speaking of dehydration, Giles will hold out the glass of water for Alexei if he's capable of holding it.] Bringing you in seemed the obvious choice.

You can stay and rest for a bit, if you want. [He glances at the other two for confirmation of this.] We wouldn't mind.

[Twenty-seventh....that's two weeks he's been gone. He looks them all for a moment. He rather not intrude any longer, but he was too weak to try and leave right now.

He then looks to Giles when he offers him the water]

...If all of you must insist, then I'll stay for a while. [He accepts the glass from Giles and drinks before continuing. Refreshing.] Perhaps you could fill me in on anything I missed the last two weeks that I should be aware of...Giles wasn't it? Frederic and...I don't believe we've met until now. [He glances at Helios.]

But a lot certainly has happened. [ A sigh. ] The draft, then apparently the village was, was being attacked by-by someone something. [ Helios still doesn't know all the details. ]

Mm but is any of that ringing any bells? It'd be easier if you told us what you last remember, like Frederic said.

If you've been gone a few weeks...well, you might have missed this month's experiment. It was a bit early, this month. And, as Helios mentioned, we did see an assault by...well, some sort of demonic girl. Exceptionally powerful. The plaza is only just starting to look normal again. That was a week ago.

ah...I can only say that it happened sometime after the draft. [He was very ill after the draft, so he doesn't remember the days after very well.] Almost more than two weeks.

...she was dealt with, yes. I don't know what's become of her since.
