You can just talk about what your hometown is like. It's always interesting to hear tales of other places.

Oh, I suppose it is not much different from many other towns you are accustomed to.

It has a port, along with a cathedral, and quite a few shops, as well. The people there are rather friendly, and it can be quite peaceful at times.
