It wasn't often that Tadashi was worried about something that didn't have some tie to Liric's well-being. Most things didn't bother him and he didn't think about -- unless Liric happened to be involved. Then he worried and hovered and tried to make sure that everything would be all right for her. Lir had decided to take a shower. For once it without Tadashi's looks of 'please' or 'for me'. She hated those looks because she gave into them every single time. She'd noticed his pacing, the way he'd rub the back of his neck and the quietness that was happening. This meant one thing. Tadashi was worrying over something. She knew this actually really well because he'd always done it when she went out somewhere with someone or wound up so strung out he even thought she was going to die.

"Stop pacing Tadpole, you're going to make yourself sick." She tightened the towel around her very tiny form and sat down on the edge of the bed. Part of her actually wondered if he was actually worried about doing something with her but then she thought that was utterly silly.

"It's really fucking weird. I'll tell you that much, though it does explain a few things."

There was the tiniest little smirk on her face.

She got up and walked over, slipping her hands under the back of his shirt up to where his wings would have been. "Like how sometimes when you actually slept, I'd touch your back and you'd twitch."

He wrapped his arms around her. "Sometimes I can still feel them and you never get over losing your wings, or so I've been told."

"I'm not real sure, Lir," he admitted. "I don't know much about it."

To be honest, after meeting Liric he hadn't tried very hard to find out.

He ran a hand through her hair. "No, but you made me think twice about trying to go back. Once I met you, I wasn't looking for a way back into His good graces any longer."

"No, I mean... when I met you, I didn't want to leave you. I didn't think twice about my decision. I felt you needed me more than I needed to find a way back."

"Met me, dear Tadashi. You sound like you're trying to say you fell in love with me the moment you saw me." She grinned a little bit and shrugged. "But, if you can get your wings back...maybe it's worth it."
