Hey, I wrote something for TW just the other day! It's not my fault if that's not your fandom.

I guess I just haven't been feeling inspired lately. I stopped watching House right before the final minion cut because it just wasn't holding my interest anymore, but I haven't been having lightbulb moments of clarity regarding new stories in my other fandoms.

Or in other words: a steady job killed my muse.

I do love mckay, but the fandom is so vast that I'd be hard pressed to write something that other people haven't done before, and better.

The only idea I've had lately is for a fic where mckay uncovers a diagnostics interface for atlantis whose interactive holographic interface is a beautiful woman based on the wife of the original programmer, and the hologram was therefore apparently created to be very affectionate and devoted to her programmer. And then she gets jealous of John and John gets jealous of 'her' and much fun is had by all.

But as always, I worry that it'll be far too cliché

I don't even type that much, but it's okay. I hate having to catch up with LJ after I go to a con and don't have access to a computer for the weekend.

I've JUST caught up with ALL THE FIC that I'd stockpiled since January and as soon as I get back from Maui, I will start going back to a full F-list because I still leave in fear of missing hot fic in any of the fandoms I care about.
Not sure how many of the House fic comms I'll pick up with again only because the duplication is fearsome and Sturgeon's Law seems to be kicking in big-time!

HUGS! Now that I'm chilling out, listening to the waves, I've got your Martha/Gwen on the top of percolation list, not to mention Tosh/John because even if it takes me a while I will come through on all my promises.
