So, I believe the Dresden Dolls "Yes Virginia" has played itself out for angry music. It is excellent and fantastic for the first half, but I'm ready for something new. So I put it out to all of you, what is some good angry music to listen too? I've got plenty of mopey from days of yor, but not so much with the angry. So all you party people, ( Read more... )

Tool - Belligerent
Most songs by Quicksand - I recommend the album Slip
Old Alice in Chains, before Jar of Flies. Post Jar of Flies has more mellow to it

Of course you ask me on the day my iPod decides to take a vacation. I have a whole angry playlist! Remind me later and I can either make a mix from it or give you the list. :)

I'd be happy with either or both, so I'll nudge you later. :)

You and I don't really have the same taste in music, but let me see if I can't pull out some stuff. Idon't listen to alot of the harder stuff anymore.

Tool was going to be my first, but someone else suggested that.
Rage Against the Machine is a great one to be mad with.
For something new and fresh, I adore "my chemical romance". the line: "What's the worse things I can say? Things are better if I stay...so long and goodbye, so long and goodbye." that's Helena. it's a little (okay ALOT) teeny, but I can get a lot of anger out of it.

And my number one of the rage meter: Nine Inch Nails--Downward Spiral. it doesn't get better than that for me.

Yeah, I used to have "Downward Spiral", but it disappeared somewhere along the way. Probably got stolen with most of my other CD's when I left 'em in the car at the Olds shop. All I've got now is the new NIN, and the Fragile (which I've never been real wild about)

I think that would cover your need for angst and rage.

I think we have a spare copy of downward spiral lying around.

I don't know who does it but, "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor"...and that's probably not even the title of it.

Also I thought I didn't like Manson until I heard songs from "The Golden Age of Grotesque". There are some good high energy angry songs and then some that you just can't help but smile at. Like when the cheerleaders come in during "mOBSCENE".
