It was lovely to win an award as my last ever (being optimistic and symbolic here) working act, and the response from colleagues and friends has been wonderful. My colleague who shared the award has posted her tagline as Award-Winning Crime Fighter. Cool

Cool! No Problem. And it is spelled Tole Painting. I had a feeling you may feel unsettled after retiring, because now, all the things you promised yourself you would do someday when you have time........ now you have to actually do them! I know this will bother me. I would take your time, and do the fun stuff first. May I suggest a grapeseed oil and sugar (brown or white) scrub. put it on your body, then rinse it off. Finally tried this tonight, and it feels wonderful!. I also put a couple of Lavender oil drops in it.

Cool. Although at first I thought you meant as a pre-painting wood cleaner!! I was going to say, shouldn't that have some vinegar in it?

So far I'm doing well at actually doing things, except that 1) I'm flitting from one thing to another to do a bit of everything (what I used to call at work "snail-racing") and 2) I'm still feeling very worldly and haven't settled into that mental nook where I can write and do spiritual work. I know that will come, though.
