It's my own fault really, I mean no one held a gun to my head and told me that I had to do a daylong buffet for 12th Night, and no one told me that I had to do 63 different dishes. Considering that we used to almost physically restrain Corwyn from going into the kitchen when he was Baron, do not think you are off the hook.... In the past, we've had some deep SCA philosophical issues around the landed Baronage taking on "service roles" during events instead of being "part of the show". I've lightened up since then....8^)

So can I have my English theme next time ;)

All day long I kept hearing about how amazing the food was and how much people loved the buffet. It was hard work to put out and a risk to change the format so much but I think the response was worth it.

the day you actually wear *English* garb to suit your Elizabethan persona, we can discuss the English theme! Just don't make us cook English food. I haven't figured out how to boil stuff so it looks okay but tastes horrible.

I used to wear English garb.... I don't really want the English theme so much as the costume party theme they loved so much. I still want to do the all things allegorical or angels and demons theme...... someday.....
