One thing I've missed about New Who over Classic Who is the novelisations. There was just something about being able to hold the story in you hands and read it whereever you like. The authors usually took the liberty to expand and/or correct elements of the TV storyline, although those written in the late 70's had a mass-production feel to them as ( Read more... )

Well, it's now official, here, that David Tennant will be leaving Doctor Who at the end of 2009's half season of four specials. Seems a shame but at least we can anticipate a massive send off for Tennant, Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner.
