Synopsis: A three-part hauntings fic. Dee recieves a visit from Billy before her suicide. Felix recieves a visit from Dee before his mutiny. Boomer recieves a visit from Felix while she is locked in the Brig. They reach out towards their respective ghosts. They reach for a place where bullets can no longer wound them.

I'm amazed at how well you write Boomer. I love Boomer but I could never write her like that. I think I understand her a bit better now though. If I'd ever write her, it would probably be a rip-off now. ;)

This is a beautiful little series that shows how great the last couple of episodes could have been, if people had only tried harder.

Thanks for reading. I'm really into writing Boomer. Strangely I have more trouble writing Athena, who you are really good with. I think Dee, Felix and Boomer have been the characters who have devastated me the most in the last few eps so it felt the urge to enhance their stories.

“I loved him too. Do you think Adama remembers that we loved him?”

Felix shook his head, regretfully. “No...I think he remembers our betrayals. I think he feels our bullets in his chest and he forgets the people we were. He forgets that we were his kids.”

Ahhh, loved that! And very, very true sadly :(

I really love the end!! It's as if she's trying so hard to tell herself that she's just a machine that doesn't love anybody and has no feelings. But she does. I always saw her as being more human than the rest of them! Oh wow, this was so sad but I really enjoyed this little series. Amazing work, cappy!

Yay Boomer! She's had an amazing story in these last few episodes. I probably will write her again. I think Boomer is now my 3rd favourite character after Gaeta and Baltar. I definitely think she has the most interesting journey of all the cylon characters. I'll have to think about other fic bunnies for her - any ideas?

And right there you've summed up everything that is driving me insane about this show.

I love it. I love this whole series. It's so unexpected, yet in a strange way so right, to use the ghosts of the dead to bring out the motives of the living. And all of them go to a place where bullets no longer hurt.

Seriously well done.

Thanks for reading! I found a lot of parallels between these four characters, not just in their bullet-related deaths but in the reasons for their despair.

I never would have thought to throw Boomer in with the other three, but you nailed it, so perfectly. And putting her in Crazy!Eight's memories as a setting for Felix's haunting... That was chilling.
