Summary: Angst/humour fic. Naomi's people arrive on the island and kill everyone in sight. Desmond is sent hurtling back through time and space. He meets with Charlie Pace in a series of alternative realities and together they attempt to alter the course of fate.    
Characters: Desmond, Charlie, Penny and Mrs Hawking.

Thanks pace! I really wanted to add some intensity to that parting moment. Des is really confused, he isn't really in control...hes just trying to the right thing even though it seems so wrong.

Oh wow, you weren't kidding when you said you were going to update this fic fast!! Charlie drawing a line on the sand and menacing Desmond with the stick was hilarious. Those two are so great together. Great dialogue you got in there...

Good question sapph...what do you reckon. I won't tell you if it ends happily or sadly, but I will reveal that the ending involves Mrs Hawking (the ring lady), a small appearence by Liam and a little hint of Claire.

Ra. Ah well, I suppose the wait makes it all worth it right? You've got to leave your readers chewing on their fingernails sometimes, wondering where you're taking it next.

I can't imagine how frustrating that would be for Desmond but it's highly hilarious for me! I loved Charlie threatening Desmond with his stick & actually drawing a line in the sand. & only one part left - YAY I'm so excited to find out what happens next
