i liked this, but then i found out she's 12 years old, and now i don't know how i feel about it.

dakota fanning (her sister) did some marc jacobs ads at 12 that were even worse. here elle looks polished and maybe too mature (in an uncomfortable way) but Dakota's was just creepy.

so? i don't see anything awful here, no nudity or frivolous poses, instead pure beautiful shots of a cute girl. (maybe the shoes were a bit out of reality, but hey, it's a photoshoot)

oh, i'm not saying the entire shoot is offensive, but the first image is a bit too Lolita-ish for my taste.

Maybe i'm too used seeing girls dressed like this every day in my school, but i'm pretty fine with this shoot. And i think she looks awesome, though older than she is. But when i was 12 people thought i was 16 or so. I'm used to people giving you more years old than you are :)
