She'd gone the day before to make sure the finishing touches were put up, in as much as she could: that the painting in the master bedroom had been done, that the furniture they'd kept was arranged perfectly, that the furniture she'd bought looked just right, that none of the stuff that they'd kept had been damaged and, most importantly, that no one had gone in Neville Webb's study.
Smiling up at the house, she felt a perfect sort of contentment as she looked at it, almost like... they'd come home. "Are you ready?"

He got out of the car and went up to the front door to wait for Annie. The anticipation was almost killing him.

The foyer hasn't really changed much except the rugs on the floor are a little lighter. She didn't want to change much with the entry since it was such an elegant room. There on the antique table are photographs of his parents and the one of him from the 1988 Olympics from his apartment.
"I'd start in the living room."
It was a big change, with the walls a bright color, the furniture done in a solid red and very plush.
