This all started when I noticed how very pretty sloppycronkite's icon is. (Sooo pretty.) The offer was made to share Exit 57 episodes so I could enjoy more pretty and I made the counteroffer to write a prompted ficlet for each episode loaded. (You can see them in their original form in the thread.) This one gets its own post because it's longer.

Oh oh.... awwwwwww.... UNF.

Oddly, I really like the idea of Stephen as a priest, like Ed Norton in "Keeping the Faith". Jon is also written adorably, self-consciously dripping in one place yet unable to control his swearing. Ten years ago I would have been outraged by the ending, but I have long since stopped believing that celibacy is a good thing for preists. Plus, the two last lines made me burst into flames of happy & choke on laughter at the same time!
