Oh God! Marvelous! It's thrilling to see such a dark beginning and then backtrack the whole process while you realize that this process is done and no one could do anything...
How they had never noticed. (Sigh

Could they have done anything if they'd spotted it earlier? Or was it inevitable? Which 'Stephen' weeps in Jon's arms and begs him to save him from the stranger? Is it obvious when Stephen died or was it so gradual that it just took them that long to notice? Dundunduuuhhhh!

Thank you for your review :D

The saddest part is, perhaps, that Jon, Amy and Paul to some extent made "Stephen" together. From Chuck Noblet to TCR, they started the fire, and Stephen was burnt.

The dog thing is always so creepily unbelievable to me...which fit right in this story(dogs are believed to able to notice evil possessions, aren't they? )But I like those little myths about his character and himself.

It's always interesting to read about a Jake & Hyde relationship between his character and him. So scary but brilliant. Thx again for you work!

I remember the thing about the dogs too, Stephen must be a really good actor.

This is creepy! Especially the idea that Stephen created "Stephen" who then grew strong enough to kill him. :O

And of course Jon is the only one "Stephen" will relate to.

The thing about the dogs made me genuinely gasp. I think that's where the root of this story came from to be honest, this idea that the dogs can feel something rotting away in him. Thanks for you review!

Hey, first of all thanks for writing this even though you're not feeling well right now (hugs).

That was really scary and brilliant at the same time. When I read that bit about the dogs knowing the difference between Stephen and "Stephen" ... well, I found that a little creepy but it probably just shows what a great actor Stephen is. He makes it so easy to slip in and out of character that I never even think about it. But I'm sure it must be hard at times.
And your story addresses that dark side in a way that made me want to hug Stephen and tell him to just leave the show. I could also feel the helplessness of the people around him and not even Jon and Paul and Amy being able to help.

Now I'm sad but in a good way ...

It creeped me out to! My favourite part of the "Stephen" character is probably just how aggressively different he is to Stephen. I just can't help but wonder how one person could be so absorbed with being another for so long without a little overflow- well I know there is as Stephen once told a story about how he accidently went home in character and his wife kicked him out and told him to come back with her husband.

Thanks buddy, and thanks for your review!

So creepy.

I like the different reactions of the various people in his life -- especially poor Jon, who's the only person "Stephen" can relate to (and even then, only when "Stephen" will let himself), but who isn't at all prepared to fill the role, and just wants his own Stephen back.

(Also, just FTR, you don't need to use the comm's exact sample disclaimer, as long as you include that any copyrighted characters aren't yours and anything about real people isn't being presented as factual.)

Yeah Stephen's a butt, I think he likes to make sure Jon remembers that he's fierce and independent and don't need no man. Sadly for Jon with "Stephen" around for 'good' things will only get worse for him. Though tbh I think it's "Stephen" whose going to suffer most from this (not to mention Stephen's family).
Thank you for your review!
