Ooooooh, I frickin' LOVE that ending.

Quite a story to concoct from such a short, simple song. I loved the images you conjured up in the story, I could totally picture the deep South, the little band of people and Stephen and Martha and their time there, Stephen, an intrepid adventurer, making his way through there. And I loved the little references thrown in as well.

Awesome short story, really liked this.
