the Universe in balance:

minus the first: I'm sick...again.
minus the second: saw on the news last night that the first of the cicadas have crawled their ugly little selves up to the surface.

plus the first: it's about 90 degrees right now and I can't quite remember what it feels like to be cold.

It's just kind of annoying at this point. And of COURSE I'm still up for Mean Girls! Didja know the new movie theater just opened up last week in Silver Spring? Maybe we could check it out. Especially since I'm not so sure when my car will be available for pickup and the place is relatively Metro/bus-accessible. Plus, non-sticky floors!

So, yes, last week was the grand opening ceremony. However, they aren't gonna start showing movies 'till next weekend. Bleh.

However, $430 later I got my car back from the mechanic, so there's that. And this:

Mean Girls

Wheaton Plaza: 7:20, 9:35
City Place: 7:40, 10:10

What say you? The sevens are earlyish for me, honestly. I could do it with much running. I'm more inclined toward the 9:35.

I'm gonna hit up the Y after work. I could maybe swing by after and pick you up? We could go somewhere for dinner first. It would be like a date... (heh) I also have a nagging feeling that I have something I need to pick up at Target.

Oh, I kill me.

It's not terribly graphic. For a sex scene, it's comparatively restrained. A couple long pans up the side of her body. I don't think there's any boob, but lotsa skin. I'd just rent it and see. Oh, but not the dubbed version. I did that once by accident.

And now I really feel like a perve. I will cap this by saying that I love and respect Franka's immense talent as an actress. I also happen to think she's incredibly beautiful.

oh yesyesyes, of course, she is a magnificent actor, and also one that one desires to see as naked as possible. That in no way detracts from her tremendous amounts of talent.
