So I've sent an email asking that professor if I could work in her lab. I don't know if I've succeeded in presenting myself as competent, but I just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best, right? I also asked my adviser if she knows of anyone who lets undergrads into their labs. I'm trying to get my foot into the door, one way or the other

Also, I hate Chinese too. But that is high school Chinese, and last year I had a terrible teacher that did not teach us anything, and now I have Ms. Chiu who expects us to know everything because we are ~*~Chinese 4~*~.
A typical day goes like so:
Someone (usually that girl Amber) pisses her off
She lectures about how disappointed she is in us, about how it's completely our fault, and how we have the wrong attitude
We give excuses about how the teacher last year did not do anything, we never did any work, and he gave crappy tests and didn't teach from the book
She says okay and tries to teach us some more
