well, you know I think this is superb, and produced in such short order too. Let's see how close to this (proper) ending they can achieve! :)

Yes! I think your story is more likely to fit into the cracks without being contradicted by canon, while we will probably get a final scene with the Doctor and Martha that is nothing like my version. But that's fun too, and if it's as good as the endings they've had in the last three episodes, I will be happy. Even if it's only 75% as good....

Oddly the endings are the bits I've been most happy with in this season so far. They've been atmospheric and effective.

After the remarks made, there's got to be a Ten/Martha kiss when he saves her (and she saves him). I hope Frank gets his chance. buy I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, yes, and very character-rich. First we get Martha coming onto the TARDIS and both baiting and charming the Doctor. Then we get Queen Elizabeth's wrath and arrows in the TARDIS panels. Then we get the Doctor's lovely nostalgia for Gallifrey. What next?

I'd be quite happy with a Ten/Martha kiss, actually, but I'm not holding my breath for that, either. It could all just be a tease, otherwise known as a slow development of the relationship to build to something really intense by the end of the series. Or the end of series 4.
